El Paredón Beach

Located in the department of Escuintla, is a volcanic sand beach known for its magical sunsets. Due to its surf conditions and proximity to mangroves it has become a popular destination for surfing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. 

Additionally, during November and December the beach is the site of baby sea turtle releases, an activity that you can enjoy with your family.
